Jawahar Kala
Kendra |

The Jawahar Kala Kendra is
based on the Vastu-Purush Mandalas of the Vedic
Shastras, wherein Architecture was conceived as a model
of the Cosmos. The specific mandala invoked is the
Navgraha (nine planets), which consists of nine squares.
It is the main centre of art in the city. Art
Exhibitions and Crafts Melas are a frequent occurrence
here. |
